(8/26/08)Tulsa, OK- Pro Mod driver Tommy D'Aprile or "Tommy D" came to Tulsa looking for two things, points and redemption. After his worst event of the season at the previous Northern Nationals D'Aprile knew he needed a good showing in Tulsa to remain in the hunt for the 2008 IHRA Pro Mod title.

When qualifying ended D'Aprile held on to the fifth position after posting a best elapsed time of 6.114 seconds. In Round one D'Aprile was paired with the number 11 qualifier, Spring Texas' Thomas Patterson.
